While most people learn something every day, Lifelong learning is the concept of continual learning that everybody now requires in order to maintain their employable skills and knowledge.
How do I Improve the Relevance of my Corporate Training?
There are two aspects to improving the relevance of your corporate training:
1) Ensure that all employee training and development aligns with the strategic goals of the organisation;
2) Blend formal training and corporate education with informal and workplace learning. There is growing research that finds some 80% of what people learn for their employment they learn on-the-job. Therefore, by blending formal training with workplace learning, employees have the opportunity to apply what they learn, relate their learning to their job and develop a better understanding of the theory and concepts underpinning their formal training.
